Don Q. Hewett. OD.
Dr. Hewett is our senior partner and has been named outstanding optometric physician of the year for 2001. As Past President of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians, he is a proven leader clinically and professionally. Currently he has a limited schedule in the clinic.
He is a 49 year member of the South OKC Rotary Club. His 50 years of clinical experience is an asset to Vision Source-OKC South. Dr. Hewett was awarded "OAOP's 2008 Distinguished Service Award " in April 2008, at the OAOP spring conference. He enjoys spending time with his family and time at the lake.

J. Travis Yadon, O.D.
Since 1978 Dr. Yadon, a native Oklahoman, has provided the highest quality eye care to South Oklahoma City. Dr. Yadon is a strong advocate of laser vision correction and uses lasers in treating ocular disease. Along with the other Vision Source doctors, Dr.Yadon treats ocular disease such as glaucoma, eye infections and dry eye. He has served his profession as Central District director, Oklahoma Associaton of Optometric Physician Board member, and member of the Medical Advisory Committee of the Oklahoma Health Care Authority. He was named outstanding optometric physician of the year in 1998. Currently he serves on the Board of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians as Treasurer.
He is a 30 year member of the Capitol Hill Lions Club, having served in every office including President and was named Lion of the Year in 2001. Leisure time activities include gardening, photography and table tennis.

Lori-Insurance/Billing
Lori is our insurance and billing coordinator. Her duties include filing insurance claims, obtaining authorizations,billing duties and overseeing HIPPA regulations, and answering phone calls. When she's not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, Kortney and her mini-schnauzer named "Toby Joe". She also enjoys going to the lake, playing pool and hanging out with friends and family.

Darla - Receptionist
Darla is our receptionist and has been our Front Office Co-coordinator for 7 years. Her duties include scheduling appointments, taking care of patient’s needs incoming and outgoing, answering phone calls, greeting patients as they arrive at our office. When she's not at the office she enjoys spending time with her family. Darla has a granddaughter named Avery and her newest granddaughter, Abbie Grace just arrived.

Gary - Optician
Gary attended the American College of Optics in Los Angeles, California where he received a diploma in optical dispensing. He is a board certified optician by the American Board of Opticianry since 1987. With 22 years of optical experience. Gary is our most experienced optician. He enjoys making the extra effort needed to provide a perfect fitting frame and lens for you. Gary also assists with patient testing utilizing the Optos retinal imager. In his free time , Gary enjoys spending time with family, traveling and his cats.

Patsy -Technician
Patsy is our Specialty Team Leader. She does refracting, pre-testing, ordering & dispensing of contacts, trains new patients on insertion and removal of contacts, & assists our optician Gary in ordering, dispensing and adjustment of eyeglasses. Patsy has 7 years experience in this field. When Patsy is not at the office she enjoys spending time with her family, all of her grandchildren and going to the lake.

Kelley - Technician
Kelley graduated From The University of Science and Arts in Chickasha, Oklahoma in December 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a minor in Liberal Arts. In April 2007 Kelley got married. Her husband, Robert, who has served two tours in Iraq, and is now currently in Korea. In May 2007, Kelley graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Master's Degree in Human Relations. Kelley conducts the patients' preliminary testing and refractions. She also photographs patient's eyes using the most recent Optomap technology. Kelley enjoys spending time with her family and friends. |

Debbie - Technician
Debbie's duties include patient pre-testing, ordering and dispensing contact lenses, train patients on insertion and removal of contact lenses. Debbie has been in the medical field for 25 years. She has been married to Monty for 26 years. She has 2 daughters, Lindsey-19, Shannon-25 and 1 son-in-law, Charlie. She enjoys the outdoors, water and snow skiing, and relaxing at the lake house. Her favorite things are traveling, spending time with her wonderful family, puppies, "Pebbles and Bam Bam", and loves to read.
